This happend in a juvenile booy camp in Panama City, Florida!!
Does this court case just madden me or do any of you others out there feel the same??!!!
I am totally disgusted that these camp trainers didn't seem to have any BRAINS.... How can they place children (no matter the age) out there like that and expect them to run on the very first day 1 3/4 mile.... to me it was at the very least criminal neglect... They didn't offer him water or any rest and the nurse, who is suppose to care and know better, just stood there like an incompetent idiot... while these 7 other (don't know why you would ever need 7 men to one 14 year old boy anyway) camp trainers took turns forcing amonia capsules to his nose while holding his mouth shut!!! Very incredible why they don't think that is criminal... You aren't (according to the doctors and they should know) even suppose to put amonia capsules in/on or up to someone's nose unless it is 6 inches away.. it is never suppose to touch them... so while they had their hands on his mouth where he couldn't hardly get any breath... they also had amonia capsules touching his nose, so he could hardly breathe.... And they wonder why he went into a coma and died...NO AIR PEOPLE.... It doesn't take a genious to know this... Of course the defense is trying to say the boy had sickle cell trait.. and that caused his death... But I can tell you right now..even if you took a very healthy child/adult... made them run more than they are use to... and didn't give them water or rest.. and on top of that put amonia on their nasel passage and held your hands over their mouth... they would/could also die.... So I don't see how they (the camp trainers) can ever get anything other than prison time... And the nurse for criminal neglect... cause she did not one thing to stop them!!!
It just makes me soooo mad everytime I hear about this case... I feel so bad for the parents that now lost their precious son over something so simple as rest and water would have done him...But those camp trainers took that away... And now they better pay!!!

I think people have forgotten who the true victim really is.. sadly enough if it was turned around... there still would be marching in Jena but for convicting the six white boys instead of letting off the black..... It is NOT an equal world out there... We should be evolving and NOT revolving... this is NOT the 19th centaury.. there are NO slaves to day people.. you have to get on with the present and future and not get stuck in the past.. Those boys did the crime and must now PAY with TIME.... time in prison... otherwise they will not learn anything and think they can do anything and get away with it just because of their race... because people like Al Sharpten will rally behind them... I still haven't heard Al Sharpten apologise for the Duke incident..... Those boys were innocent and now it has been proven but he has his own agenda... (part of it is staying in the news so he can get his face more famous)One should at least admit when they are wrong.. and he has been wrong more times than right...
I am for equality but incidents like these are turning people away and not for the races... and it wasn't just a fight... but a cruel and evil beating.. wanting to hurt badly this kid... and that is unacceptable.. but if we ooh and awe over the 6 kids that did it.. they will think they can walk and beat all over people and pay not one thing... Just think how you would feel if you were the boy's mom that got beaten badly....

First of all I have a new website now cause for awhile this Family planit went off line.. so my new website is http://beccas-corner.tripod.com
Now let's see if we can catch up... well my son got really sick in his kindergarten classroom...it was the chemicals they had used in some kind of paint or something during the summer time.. it was giving the kids bronchial and lung problems.. so Ray kept getting sick every time he went to class..so we took him out of it..I am now teaching him Monday through Friday...
We may also be moving sometime in the near future and when we do I am putting him in regular school...:) Where he should be and would be had there not been that problem...
We have also had problems with someone's nasty emails.. but I won't get into that here...we met some really great friends this last summer on our trip and they are still with us and it is great...
Also the panther maybe still around.. two nights ago there was something big outside..it was dark and hard to see and Weylin fired a few rounds so maybe it won't come too close...Although I get a feeling it may have it's den around here...We have an old doghouse out back tht is verily good size that isn't being used and I believe something made a home out of it.. I haven't been brave enough to look though! ;)
Well besides that...nothing new... I don't think anyway..;)
Still writing my poetry...will try and put new ones on..mainly on my new site.. |

The Bounty Hunter Dog Chapman just got arrested by US Marshals because the Mexican government has called for His and Tim his brother and his son Leland's arrest for what they say was a kidnapping a few years back when they arrested Andrew Luster in mexico. They will be deported to Mexico to stand trial for the kidnapping...
How unbelievable is all of this!!! How can an american citizen be ordered by another country tobe deported to stand trial for arresting an american criminal? What kind of country do we live in?
My heart goes out to Dog Chapman and his family! I only hope all can be turned around and our people can be sent back to us!

I Am Back!!! |

Got back late yesterday from North Carolina.... We went to Maine too! Actually we stayed most of the time in Maine. It is beautiful country out there.... Well we first spent a nice full day in North Carolina and then we drove all the way to Maine. Had no trouble; it was smooth sailing all the way up! Met really nice people there. The lady we stayed with named Scarlet was absolutely lovely. It was a wonderful spiritual time out there.....
I did however I mildly sprained my ankle one morning, that was to be a full day to myself. I didn't want to mess up my day, as I was going to take a long walk. So I decided to walk anyway and after a few moments it was numb enough for me to ignore. I just kept walking. I thought I would walk to the lovely Maine town (which was just the next town) of Blue Hill. I kept walking, and walking and walking... Taking in all the beautiful Maine woods and mountains. Smelling the fresh air and greeting each person with a smile... Everyone is very friendly there... Well I passed the small area of East Blue Hill and kept walking on thinking Blue Hill had to be soon.... I eventually met these two nice ladies who told me (after I asked) that I had two more miles or more to go.... Mind you I had at least walked 3 miles already by this time.. They said they would take me but I wanted to see if I could make it on my own....So I walked maybe half a mile .... and started to feel my ankle wasn't so numb after all... Well since I hadn't told anybody where I went nobody knew I was there, or that I sprained my ankle... To make a long journey shorter... I just knew perserverance was going to have to kick in... I concentrated on one step at a time.. and the beautiful scenery... I finallly, and barely, made it back.... Found I had walked in total about 6 or 7 miles.... I felt it too... My ankle made me ill for the rest of the afternoon and all that night...But I still don't regret my adventure and sense of freedom I felt... It was cool...
I also took about four to five day trips with this wonderful lady, who is a good friend now... Melody...
One time she took me and my son Ray (she has a son, Alex, who is 3 and Ray is 5) on a boat ride in Camden, Maine... It was lovely...even if I had felt sick the night before (something I ate??!!) I enjoyed it thoroughly...I also saw a porpoise... I looked just at the right time for the porpoise to dive into the water.. Nobody else seemed to see it cause they were listening to the captain talking about Lobster |

Well here is part two that didn't quite fit on the first entry... ;0
Also saw Eagles and Harbor Seals on that trip...
Next day she took us to Acadia National Park and we got to drive up to Cadillac Mountain... We sat there for a bit and then we went to Jordan's Pond to eat lunch and I tell you, if ever you are there you got to at least go to Jordan's Pond.. That in itself is worth the trip... And sit outside and eat... Wow.. a beautiful lake view with mountains.....A postcard picture for sure...
Well we spent about three weeks in Maine and then it was time to start back home...Well we stayed at this place Scottish Inn (we stayed there on the way up and we went back on the way down and even got the same room) The next morning as we were packing my husband saw a few feet from our door a Black Bear as he was heading back into the woods looking for food... I know he knew we were there but he just so causally walked into the woods... I couldn't believe what I was seeing... My first wild Bear...
Then we stopped back through North Carolina (To my husband's mom's place) and we had truck trouble... well we stayed a full day there and got the truck to start again...It was sitting up hill and couldn't get gas..He had pushed on the peddal and flooded it... Well when he got it level again it started... We headed for home (Florida) just in time to miss the Hurricane headed toward NC... We still got a lot of rain on the way down here... It was a wonderful trip and one I won't ever forget... It is very beautiful in Maine.... |

Panthers, Bears, and Bobcats.... |

I found out today that the panthers around here are the black variety...and there are about 10 to 20 left in the whole of Northwest Florida...Nothing is being done about trying to save them.. they are only trying to kill them..And oust them with tourist and condominiums.....
The Black Bears that use to have a section of Ft. Walton for a sanctuary are now being frightened out by the test bombs at Eglin Airforce Base... And they are coming into the city and people's backyards.. when they call the rangers they shoot them instead of tranqualizing them... they aren't even trying to find them a new place... they don't care here about the animals and nature only money... That is a republican state for you! A Jeb Bush State...One that only cares about the money coming in but not about the beauty and nature that made people want to live here in the first place...
About 100 to 50 years ago this state use to be beautiful and bountiful... A land of wilderness and full of life... Now the only sounds of life are the rumblings of cranes, bombs, and honking traffic... crowded beaches with littering people.... A Place where only the rich, who can stay in their house, want to live.... Filled with mosquitos from trash dumps and dirty swamps...
The Bobcats are being run out of here..There use to be a lot of them.. as many as the rabbits, birds, and squirrils.... But now their habitat is in danger because more traffic leads to more highways and more people shooting with guns...
If I had the money I would build a wild sanctuary where the last remaining Bobcats, Panthers, and Bears could roam free...

Well my cousin already knew her cat was gone so I feel a little better about that! She is glad to know we burried it! But she told us something a bit unsettling....There is a panther loose in this area..Yes my town...So now it is a different flavor and feeling when I go walk Shasta (My dog) in the woods or just around the house... The man that lives next door said it took down one of his big bulls... and another neighbor who actually has a panther as a pet in an enclosed area said he saw it outside the encloser and the panther was pacing trying to get to his panther.... We use to have lots of panthers here about 40 to 50 years ago but everyone assumed they were all dead and gone by now... farmers use to shoot them and their habitat is non existent now...So we thought the same with Bobcats around here but my husband has already seen at least two to three of them... So..................... I am thinking NOT all of the Panthers are gone either..they just learned how to adapt and hide better... I wish they could find a sanctuary and put animals like the Panthers and Bears that use to roam here in...There use to be Black Bears here too and still are some in a sanctuary in Ft. Walton area.... There use to be a whole load of animals here before settlers started coming in....Well here is hoping they catch (Alive if possible) the Panther and put him in a safe place... where he can't kill anyone and anyone can't kill him... |

I don't condone what he said but come on... get off your royal righteousness act people.....We all have said things we weren't proud of, so think back to those times...And come on, but we all know that if he wasn't famous nobody would give a fricking darn what he said.....Let's do what the bible says and take out the huge log out of our own eye before we take out a fleck in someone elses...... okay enough said about it.... I don't want to hear about it anymore....

There is a little cat (my son and I named Barney, my cousin's cat from across the street) that always came up to my son and I when he (my son) was playing in the sand. He always came into our yard and had our dogs barking like crazy ;0. Anyway, yesterday morning I saw he was hit by a car. His hind legs had been hit and I asumed he was dead! I couldn't tell from across the street if he had been hit other places.. So I didn't check... I will have to live it down too cause my husband later went to bury him, (my cousin never did even though he was at the end of their yard, and he told me that only his legs were crushed... which maybe if caught sooner he could have lived a crippled life after an operation...we'll never know! But at least I could have moved him into the shade where the baking sun would not have killed him sooner... I felt so bad knowing he still might have been alive when I saw him! I found out later that my cousin and her children (the cat belonged to one of the girls) are on vacation... so they still don't know! We burried him and have layed out three stones for a memorial! I will never forget this loving cat my son and I named Barney! |

Sometimes you just would love to shake her and say "WAKE UP"!!!! Now she is claiming Bill Clinton must be gay just because he is trying to hard to flirt with the ladies... Get real!! I suppose she has something against gay people anyway... boy oh boy!!! I agree that Israel has a right to defend itself...but there are a lot of innocent people in the way getting killed and that is just too much!! I was very sorry to see Dan Abrams show go off the air a week or so ago... I had just loved that show on MSNBC... But I do love also The Tucker Carlson show that took it's place. I don't agree with everything he says, but then I didn't with Dan either...but that is what makes those shows worthwhile in my book! I am more of a green environmental/libral type to their more conservative outlook but there are those issues I absolutely agree with... For one, I do think we got a problem with illegal aliens.. Hey I like them too but there are waaaay too many of them and if they wish to live in our country they should come over here the right way! I also think Pat Buchanan was right (even though he ain't my favorite guy) when he said maybe Israel should have gone about it a different way then just bombing the heck out of poor Lebanon...I feel for those people, and I am not just talking about American or foreigners... But the Lebanese themselves... I know those politicians, no matter what country they come from, just think about war, war, war, money, money, money, Oh and more war and money.... and oil... that is sick and saddens me..Don't care about what we are doing as a whole to nature or our world... hey we grow up thinking we will surrvive forever and that nothing bad will happen, at least not in our time...WRONG..PEOPLE THAT IS VERY WRONG..... places from the north that are suppose to be mildly warm now are burning hot..and places that are suppose to be burning hot are HELL... believe me I live in it... It is the land of Florida..try it sometime if you've never been here during the summer... Can't go out hardly anymore...not even in the morning without being a total sweat factory.... Oh but THEY want you to believe it is all normal...
Anyway, I do like those political shows...Hardball with Chris Mathews and Joe Scarbourough Country... hey I am an MSNBC kind of girl.... Wellgoodbye Dan but since he had to go at least we got Tucker and that was a terrific surprise.... |

I was starting to get really mad at our government for expecting our own citizens of the great USA to pay to be rescued! I don't understand sometimes why we put money over humanity! What a shame! Well maybe we got hope yet, but I think it is because the people of this country blogged that they decided to send in the boats without any money.... Well enough of my ---itching...;)

Well my husband got bit by a snake. Yes, it was a poisonous one and no couldn't get him to go to the hospital. He said it didn't get a chance to sink it's teeth into him fully to put poison in. He did feel sick and have a headache for awhile, but he was okay! Thank Goodness!!!! Well that is about as interesting as its been around here. Although I can do without that kind of interesting!!! |

Well I feel a lot better today!!! My ankle still looks bad, but it only hurts if I touch it!! So a big improvment!! Not much really happening here.. Waiting to see for sure where that Hurricane Wilma will go!!! She is going around where my dad lives, in Jupiter area!!! Well that whole area is going to see her I believe!!
I had a strange dream early this morning... with buying purple shoes... Early Thursday morning I had a dream where I bought purple back packs and purse... Purple is my favorite color, so maybe the dream had some kind of special purpose for me!!! |

Well I took the dog out, like I do every night, around 8 or 9 PM (central time) and I fell off the porch stairs (it was close to the bottom stairs) and I twisted my ankle at the same time!!!! I feel so much pain and it swelled up to twice it's size!!! I layed down for the rest of the night!!! |

AAhhh, I just had to clean those pesky critters out of the microwave. They were crawling everywhere! And yesterday morning I had to knock them off one by one out of the cat food box... It took about 20 minutes... And so sometimes one has to wonder, Why were they created? Now before all the scientists out there write me emails about the wonders of ants... Please Don't! I don't mind them outside in the woods etc... (except not on the blueberry bushes) But definitely NOT in my house! For then it's war!!! I'm just venting everyone!!!

Well this morning while I was Blueberry picking, I was again reflecting. I do this quite often.... It is my own little church. I do not believe you have to go inside four walls to have church. I know God lives inside us so whereever we are so we can have church. God to me is more felt in nature than inside a building... That's just me. Well as I was humming that old Irish war tune of Danny Boy, I started wondering why they fought each other, beings they really did not appear to look different. We as humanity as a whole are alike. We each have that spark of God inside of us. We are all a part of the essence of God; a part of his wholeness..... So why the wars, the you are different attitudes! We are all the same in the very essence of ourselves.... People travel different paths, but we are all going the same direction.... some people take the high road, some the low road, some the middle, but the destination is the same....
I hear that the government has discovered a new germ (one that I am sure has been around but laid dormant of mankind's mind) and now they want to spray or put this germ over the cotton fiels of the south. Well ain't that grand..... And all I can say to that is: LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!! I can't wait to be part of a demented experiment to rejuvinate cotton..... Mankind has sure gone off the beaten path... And these are the folks we are listening to... the so called Christians who every word we are hanging on...... Pretty scary isn't it! It usually comes on A&E on Tuesday evenings at 9PM central time. I usually watch right after Dog The Bounty Hunter, which I think is a real cool show! |

Well last week we bought some goats (actually we already had them here on our land keeping them for someone else) but now we own them. I really didn't want them but now they are ours! We got 8 with two of them getting ready to have some babies. Yesterday I picked some Blueberries and those goats came up (and me being the sucker that I am) ended up giving them goats half the Blueberries. I had to go pick more..... My little 4 year old loves them too! And insist upon them...... Well today it is rainy and not so good a day and I am bored... Not much to do here in Florida land.... Just a few hicks, goats, and chickens..... well maybe I will add to this later.... I just wanted to try it out!
Well today is through and I didn't do anything more interesting. I did take time to sing some Eagle and Jim Croce songs. It has been one boring looong day!
