TRIBUTE TO DIANNA
Her smile lit up a gloomy room.
Her heart shone like gold.
She was brighter than the moon.
But she was sad, so I'm told.
In the innocence of youth,
she wed the royal clan.
If only she'd have known the truth,
oh, the folly of man!
For years her happiness took,
a back seat to royal life.
But then her life was made a book,
now goodbye to royal wife.
Then one night in a car,
in a tunnel dark.
In a land very far,
went out her golden spark.
"Now sweet innocent, hear me well",
For this is what I say.
"You surely are where angels dwell,
and we'll miss you every day!
9/11 HEROES
Throw a rose to the sky,
for all the loved ones way up high.
How we'll miss your shining face,
in this ever worldly place.
You were too good for this world to stay,
and we'll miss you more each day.
You'll never be forgotten here.
You'll be remembered every year!
So take the rose to your heart.
We're too close to ever part.
You're all heroes, to the end.
Farewell, until we meet again!
SEPTEMBER 11 (2001)
On a morning of clear blue sky,
on two mighty towers high,
many people on the street,
like each day it was so sweet.
Then an airplane came in sight,
then struck one tower with all it's might.
Oh, the anguish and the pain,
of all those in the tower and plane.
People running to and fro,
not knowing just where to go.
People jumped from the tower high,
knowing they would surely die.
Then some minutes passed and then,
there came another plane again.
It struck tower number two,
just as it was instructed to.
People tried to get away,
and forget about this nightmare day.
As the building burned and the towers fell,
It must have felt like burning in hell.
The towers crashed to the ground,
leaving piles of bodies, like a buriel mound.
Many police and firemen too,
lost their lives to save a few.
Many were buried alive that day.
Oh, the tragedy to die that way.
Then miles away, in another state and city,
a plane crashed through the pentagon, oh, what a pity.
Thousands upon thousands died this day.
It was Arab terrorists they say.
They hijacked four planes, and flew in the sky,
to crash into buildings, so Americans would die.
Oh, the mourning and the sorrow,
many feared there would be no tomorrow.
Many lives this day were lost.
Too many to even count the cost.
People running in the street,
to get away from the smoke and heat.
Ashes fell to the ground,
as thick as snow, without a sound.
It brought us Americans closer that day.
We donated blood and started to pray.
The country shut down, and we all took a part,
and gave the survivors our love and our heart!
SNOW (a rememberance to our dog on the day she was found dying)
Snow, what a lovely name,
though a dog, still the same,
pure white as the driven snow,
with patches of black and eyes if vivid blue.
That morning you were found,
lying there, right on the ground.
Blood flowing, but never your fate knowing,
as the last breath of your life ebbed out.
Your presence still lingers there.
Invisible, just like the air.
A true and loyal friend.
We'll miss you forever!
TRIBUTE TO ROBERT
Dedicated to my friend Robert! He will be sorely missed!
I will always remember your face,
a look of sadness and despair. I
wish I could have known how deep
your pain was. I wish I could have
saved you! People always say that it
wouldn't have made a difference but
I guess now we shall never know! You
were a caring man full of love in your
heart. I wish I could have made her
love you and maybe you would still be
here, with your red hair and sparkling
blue eyes as a gift to the world! I wish
I could have know that night that you
would take your life, instead of two weeks
later when I could do nothing but cry and
wish with all my heart that I could turn
back the wheels of time! Would it make
a difference? I'll never know... I'll
never know! But I will always wonder....
JUSTICE IN JENA?
Justice in Jena? It's hard to see.
The six guilty boys, may soon be free.
Yet the boy who was beaten from head to toe,
has no where to turn and no where to go!
You have to wonder where justice has been.
I use to think that he was a friend!
Yet Jena must soon shut down,
For crazy Al Sharpten has come to town.
Oh Jena how crazy your name has become.
You'll always be known for the crimes that were done.
And yet justice will be over turned you can bet,
instead of evolving; they just won't forget...
